Frozen Shoulder
Shoulder pain from a Frozen Shoulder is one of the most common musculoskeletal complaints we see in clinic. These injuries can be incredibly debilitating and tend to be most bothersome with activity. Because the shoulder is such a mobile joint it has high risk of injury. Shoulder pain and injuries can greatly hinder your ability to move freely and without discomfort.
Shoulder pain can be caused by damaged tendons, strained muscles, damaged rotator cuff and even injury to other parts of the body such as the arm or neck. Ligaments, tendons and muscles within the shoulder all work together to create the movement and strength required for proper shoulder function. The most common shoulder injury is Shoulder Impingement Syndrome sometimes referred to as Shoulder Impingement.
